As a premier provider of precision metal fabrication across the Midwest, Dickmann Manufacturing has built a reputation on providing customers with cost-effective solutions for a wide range of applications. Our success is based on flexible manufacturing processes and a customer-centric culture which allows us to deliver the same level of value and quality regardless of a project’s size or complexity.
In this project, we helped ConceptWorks develop a large-scale metal logo that would be used as a sign for their facility. Composed of 14 gauge stainless steel, the design called for a 10’ diameter. Using our precision fiber laser cutter, the logo was cut from two sheets of stainless steel. Laser cutting was the ideal solution to form these parts; the process delivers advantages such as high-speed cutting and edges that require little to no finishing. In this case, the parts could go straight from the laser table to the welding department. With the combination of expert workmanship and advanced equipment, we could fabricate this large-scale assembly within a ±.002” tolerance, and turn it over in less than two weeks.
